Since making the jump from SCUBA to freediving in 2008, I’ve gone from a complete novice to an experienced spearo, and I’m always eager to help fellow club members and continue expanding my knowledge of the sport. I discovered spearfishing after walking into Spear America, where I immediately signed up for my first FII Level 1 class with Jeremy Caulkins.

Since then, I’ve speared up and down the California coast and made multiple trips to Baja, BOLA, and other destinations. Over the years I’ve taken a wide variety of fish—from Opal Eye and Sheephead to Yellowtail, Bluefin Tuna, and sizable Groupers. I’m honored to have served as President of the OC Spearos and feel I have a lot to offer both new and seasoned members. I’m excited to bring fresh energy to the board and look forward to serving the club with vigor and dedication.
