The 2018 OC Classic was a huge success. On behalf of the OC Spearos I would like to congratulate all the winners of this years tournament. Many divers had a tough time out there with more than a few stories of lost fish or missed opportunities. For those who were able to capitalize on the conditions and those who were in the right place at the right time it was a good and profitable day.
We would like to thank Spear America for hosting once again and a big thanks to all the sponsors of this years tournament. We can’t put on an event like this with out the local support of the businesses that constantly feed this sport.
Thank you to all clubs who sent divers to support us. It was great to see familiar faces at the weigh-in.
With 91 divers the competition was tight. OC Spearos, other clubs, and non club affiliated divers competed for the $3,438.50 that was paid out to the winners of the tournament along with the jackpot victors.
Thank you to all who supported the tournament in 2017 from which allowed us to put up the prize money for this years tournament.
